The Leonard Hotel in Marble Arch, is perfectly located for visiting London, within walking distance of best attractions in the city.
Recently stayed in this hotel whilst in between business trips. Was pleasantly surprised with a charming lady at the reception that went out of her way to make me and my business partner feel comfortable and have rooms close to each other. She explained all the amenities around, even gave us a short intro of the history of the hotel. Serena, special thanks to you for everything. PS. Loved the breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel, the dishes seemed very fresh. Will be happy to return soon.
Great Staff Great Location They really care!
This boutique hotel is excellently placed at Marble Arch. Very close to the Tube station and Oxford Street. Staff were very helpful and attentive but discreet. The atmosphere is calm and unhurried but everything gets done efficiently with minimum of fuss. I will be back again!
My London home away from home
I have been staying at the Leonard for 10 years and I hope that this Hotel will never change. The staff are warm and friendly and really eager to help in any way. The rooms are furnished in traditional English style, very cosy and the beds very comfortable. The location is excellent with great shopping and cafes a short walk away. Hyde Park is nearby for those who love horse riding or running. For me it is one of the best kept secrets in London and I hope it remains that way. I highly recommend The Leonard to anyone who is visiting London.
Without doubt one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in while visiting London. Best for several reasons. Such a refreshing change from the ultra modern streamline corporate establishments we have so many off these days. The Leonard is a Boutique hotel. Atmospheric, filled with charm and class. Decorated throughout in traditional style with original period features and array of antique art work. The rooms are outstanding. Complementary water in room. All amenities including tea/coffee and biscuits as well as flat screen TV. Warm, friendly efficient staff who do their upmost to make your stay an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend breakfast. Plenty to choose from including healthy options. Very hearty breakfast which won’t disappoint. The hotel is based in the centre of London yet set behind the hustle and bustle of the city in a quite street. A two minute stroll will take you to Marble Arch, Hyde Park, Bond street and Regents street where the designer shops await you. The theatre district is 10 minutes walk. A perfect hotel in a perfect location for anyone visiting London. Highly recommended.
Wonderful afternoon tea
I bought a voucher for an afternoon tea as a gift for my mum on Mother’s Day. We finally got a chance to use it last weekend and it was wonderful.
I had booked the royal afternoon tea so we had a glass of champagne to start. They then brought out the sandwiches and cakes. We had salmon & cream cheese, cucumber, egg and ham & mustard sandwiches which were all delicious. Followed by scones with jam, lots of lovely little cakes and some salted caramel cupcakes. Everything was great and my mum enjoyed her treat!
